Description: History of missile, rocket, and spacecraft development; characteristics of current launch vehicles and spacecraft. The role of the aerospace engineer in industry, government, and the university. Launch performance, trajectories, and orbits. Solid-propelled rocket project. Spacecraft mission design and configuration.
