Research Interests:
space mission design, mechanics, celestial mechanics, astrodynamics, attitude dynamics and control, long-term dynamical behaviors, multi-body dynamics, chaos theory, non-linear dynamics and control, low-thrust and low energy mission design, massively parallel simulations, numerical methods, optimization, symplectic integrators, computer vision, and image processing.

Positions Held:
Member of Engineering Staff, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (2003 to current)
Europa Clipper Mission Design engineer. MAVEN Navigation engineer. Former navigation lead for the astronomy missions, Kepler and Spitzer. Mission designer and analyst for various NASA/JPL space missions such as JIMO and Juno. Mission design and navigation lead for several proposed NASA missions such as InSight, Planet-C, Multiple Sample Asteroid Return Mission, Deep Interior II, Mars Network Lander, SmallTug, Gulliver, SIM, and Saturn Probe.
